Hot wars: Climate change, armed conflict and security
What do we know about the links between climate change and conflict? Will life on a hotter planet be on with more armed violence?
This webinar explores the existing evidence connecting climate change change with conflict. It examines how researchers have drawn connections between changing in the environment and altered patterns of conflict across the planet.
As well as looking at the evidence, this session will also explore the implication. How should governments and civil society respond? What are the implications for development, peacebuilding and security?
The session is lead by Alex Randall - programme manager for the Climate and Migration Coalition.
